Service Ministries
When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit upon his glorious throne, and all the nations will be assembled before him. And he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Then the king will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me, naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.'
Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?' And the king will say to them in reply, 'Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.' Then they will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?' He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.' And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

The Saint Patrick Food Pantry has been serving the Watertown community for nearly 20 years by faithfully feeding the hungry and giving drink to the thirsty among us. Now more than ever, it is important for us to reach out to those in need in our community.
The Food Pantry is staffed by a dedicated team of volunteers and operates entirely by means of generous donations of food, sundries, monetary gifts, and volunteer hours from members of Saint Patrick Parish, the Watertown community, and surrounding area.
Please help the Food Pantry today with a gift of non-perishable food, toiletries, your time, or a monetary contribution.

Do you knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? From beginners to advanced, all are welcome to join the St. Patrick Prayer Shawl Ministry! You may work with others in bi-weekly meetings or by yourself in the comfort of your own home. Instruction, yarn, needles, patterns and loving support are provided.
The term “prayer shawl” refers to a shawls or lap robes that are handmade by volunteers and gifted to individuals in need of comfort. They are not for sale.
Knitters and crocheters pray for the eventual recipient while they make the prayer shawl, and periodically the prayer shawls are blessed at Mass as well. The group meets on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am, every other week from September to June.
If you are in need of the comfort and prayers of a prayer shawl, please call the Parish Office, we can help.

Each Advent our parish sponsors a Christmas Giving Tree. Ornaments suggest gift items for someone in need – a specific person identified by first name, age, and possible gift suggestions – or an organization that supports particular groups of people (such as mothers in need). Parishioners take an ornament, purchase the item, wrap it, and bring it back to St. Patrick’s. Volunteers sort and deliver the gifts to the organizations we are sponsoring.
This past year our gifts went to support families of over 300 people through our association with “My Brother’s Keeper.” Additional gifts of food cards for local grocery stores were distributed through our St. Patrick Food Pantry.
