WELCOME to the St. Patrick Parish Webpage:

What a winter we are having.  Despite cold days, there is a sense of Spring in the air -and we love it.  Sorry for the skiers, but I am happy for the change from last year.  March 22 is ASH WEDNESDAY and begins the Lenten Season.  This is always a grace-filled opportunity.  In our Belmont/Watertown Collaborative we share a lot of programs to enhance your Lenten experience.  Keep visiting our webpage for lots of information.

St. Patrick Parish strives to welcome everyone to the parish and I hope that you will use this Webpage as an introduction to our community and its activities - but more - that you will join us for worship on the weekend.  May the Lord bless you and your family.

Collaborative Lenten Retreat
The Call of Lent:  A Season of Discernment

Sunday, March 11          Sacred Heart, Watertown
Monday, March 12         St. Luke, Belmont
Tuesday, March 13        St. Patrick, Watertown

This 3-session Lenten Mission moves among the collaborative parishes as listed above.  Each evening provides the opportunity for the sacrament of Reconciliation from 6:15-6:45pm
prior to the session which begins at 7:00 pm with Fr. Terrence Devino, S.J.

Once again we are invited to pray Lent, so that we might grow prayerfully, personally and powerfully in our relationship with God.  But to do this we need to know what God is calling us to-Lent is a time of discernment, what is that God wants for us?  How is God acting in our lives?

"Come back to me, with all of our heart."  Joel 2:12

Fr. Devino is the Director of Manresa House and also serves as Special Assistant to the
President at Boston College.

The St. Patrick Family Players will be performing the Musical Cantata, Resurrection,
by Bryan Jeffrey Leech.

Resurrection is the inspirational story of Simon Peter and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ.
The performance leads the audience on an unforgettable spiritual journey with St. Peter as he faces his martyrdom.  Peter recalls his own experiences with Christ as well as those he shared with Mary Magdalene and the disciples as they followed Jesus.  In moving songs, Peter shows
the anguish for his denial of Christ and the joy that comes with the Resurrection and His forgiveness.

There is no cost for this…all are welcome!
